Funding practice
How we support projects
The Müller-Möhl Foundation does not accept applications for pure project funding; it helps to organise projects or carries out its own projects.
The following criteria apply:
- Thematic focus: The project is clearly linked to women’s equality. Our aim is to raise the profile of female talent and to increase the representation and participation of women in politics, business, media, science, culture and society. The focus is on promoting the compatibility of career and family.
- Outreach: The initiative targets larger groups or communities in order to achieve a broad impact; no individuals will be supported.
- Geographical focus: Projects based in Switzerland and serving all language regions are the focus of our support. Switzerland serves as a pilot for international projects.
- Independence: The initiative is politically neutral, non-denominational and free from conflicts of interest.
- Impact: The project will have an impact across Switzerland – and, if possible, globally – and demonstrate the potential for rapid, scalable and widespread change.
We ask for your understanding that requests and applications that do not meet these criteria will be rejected.
How we support people and ideas
The Müller-Möhl Foundation supports projects and the people behind them who share our vision and whose ideas make a positive contribution to its realisation.
How we work together:
- Expertise: We share our expertise to strengthen the content of projects and develop innovative ideas.
- Time: We invest our time in strategic advice, coaching and support to help projects succeed.
- Network: We open doors and share our extensive network of opinion leaders, partners and supporters to create synergies and mobilise resources.
- Voice: We give projects a voice, using our platforms and reach to generate awareness and support.
- Funding: In exceptional cases, we also make financial resources available to specifically promote high-impact projects.
Our goal: We aim to work together to achieve equality and strengthen initiatives with lasting impact.
